The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, uses no tracking of any kind, and the enquiry form sends nothing to us on its own. Everything below is the long version of that sentence.
The enquiry form
Everything you type into the form stays in your own browser. Nothing is transmitted while you fill it in and nothing is stored on a server. When you press “send on WhatsApp” or “send by email”, your own WhatsApp or your own mail programme opens with the text already written, and you send it yourself. So we only ever see what you deliberately send us, in the message you sent it in. The total the form shows you is worked out in your browser from the published rates and is indicative, not an offer.
What we do with an enquiry
We read it, we check the dates, and we answer. If you book, we keep the correspondence and the invoice for as long as the tax rules require us to. We do not pass your details to anyone else, we do not sell them, and we do not use them to advertise to you.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like every web server, their servers record the usual technical data when a page is called up, including your IP address, the time, the page and your browser. That happens for the operation and security of the site and we do not read or analyse those logs.
Fonts
The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser fetches them from a Google server and your IP address reaches Google in the process. We are moving these files onto our own server so that this stops. Nothing else on this site is loaded from a third party.
Your rights
If you have written to us, you can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our keeping it. One email to sebastian@sebweiss.com is enough and it costs nothing.
