Two pools.One shaded, one in the sun.

The garden pool sits between the lawn and the deck, in the shade of the trees, and is the one the children never leave. The second is up on the terrace, in the sun all day, with the bay in front of it.

Both are cleaned and checked as part of the house, not as an extra, and neither is heated. Towels are there, and so is the shade, which in a Cape Town February matters more than the water temperature.
